A lake is the landscape’s most beautiful and expressive feature. It is the earth’s eye; looking at which the beholder measures the depth of his/her own nature. To protect one such beautiful piece of earth from getting polluted, a GVD team of 15 volunteers and Lead India 2020 team under the leadership of Jaleel Ahmed Pasha Shaik and Arjun Kumar Yadav Pasham, visited the Chakali Cheruvu (Washer man’s Pond), Serilingampally, Ranga Reddy District, and removed litter from the lake and its shoreline.

The lake is around 15 kms from the CIQ -Hyd office. As populations grow and lifestyles change, we must keep the world in a good condition so that future generations will have the same natural resources that we have.
